Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas!!!!

We had an AWESOME Christmas this year!!! Having so many people and family members we wanted to see was a little stressful but we made it work and we were able to see everybody! We got the kids on Friday the 23rd so it was nice to have a "chill" day with them and then the rest of the time it was just run, run!
Christmas Eve day we went and hung out with my dad and his GF Vicki! We went and saw Arthur's Christmas and then went and played games and did gifts. the kids were so excited for what grandpa got them McKenzie got a Hello Kitty cd player and karaoke machine, Bradley got a whole bunch of art supplies (Vicki says he's a really talented artist) so he's excited to go spend some time up at Feather Your Nest with Vicki doing some art projects. Carson got a Scooby Doo monster house and boy was he excited!! That could have been the only thing he got for Christmas and he would have been a happy little camper. And Brandyn and I are VERY excited for what they gave us.... Tickets to Aladdin at the Tuachan this summer!!! We are so way excited and they are going with us so we are really excited!! I'm a dork and didn't take any pics, I don't know what had gotten into me!!
Christmas Eve night we spent with the Deatry family. We went and did dinner and then we exchanged gifts and boy did they spoil us!! It was awesome to spend time with all the Deatrys TOGETHER!! Jeremy and Ashley came up from New Mexico and it's been pretty fun to spend time with them!

Sweet little Bryce... Taking a picture :)

My dad and Vicki gave the kids a DARLING little Christmas box with all the "stuff" for Santa. It had a place-mat, cookies, a cup for his milk, carrots for Rudolph, and she even added in a little snuggle for the kids to go to bed with that night. It was so darling!!

Well.... He came....and he ENJOYED!!!
Grandma Rhonda gets everybody P.J.'s for Christmas Eve and this year all her grandkids got matching ones with their initial on them.... SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!

The boys each wanted Legos
McKenzie asked for a pink guitar with her name on it
And Santa brought us the COOLEST gift ever!! That's right people its a bouquet of gift cards!!! My mom is seriously a genius! It was a perfect gift for Brandyn and I. When we don't have the kids we like to go,go,go so this will be so fun for us and we have already used a couple!! She also major spoiled us with clothes and shoes and just EVERYTHING. We had a really great Christmas!
This year Brandyn and I decided to do it pretty big for eachother. We never know what situation we will be in next year and we really wanted to make our first Christmas as husband and wife a good one. He was so good to me, got me a new designer purse and shoes and clothes and did an AWESOME job picking everything out. I am still so shocked at how good of taste that man has!! I got him some new Callaway golf stuff, some more Dolphins memorabilia, clothes, and the new Beats headphones. We did really good for eachother and I think more than anything we were just happy to spend the holiday as a family. The kids got so spoiled from their grandmas and grandpas!! We cut back for them this year and tried to focus more on the meaning of Christmas and family. We just feel that those are values they are not learning in their everyday life and when they are HERE we find it really important to show them love through other things rather then with money. They had a wonderful Christmas and when they left they said it was their most favorite Christmas ever!!! It did our hearts good to see them get so many things they "wanted" but remembered that we are a family and it's not about the "biggest gift" I really hope they learn that as they get older and start making their own decisions.
Well this blog was full of words and hardly any pictures but that's what this Christmas was....
A BIG MEMORY!!!
It was a fabulous Christmas!!
